Special gauge for adjusting the brake shoes on 1946-61 Plymouth - Dodge: 1948-60 Dodge Trucks and 1946-62 DeSoto - Chrysler - Imperial (NOT required for Valiant or Lancer). Tool makes it easy to adjust shoes to be concentric with the drum which ensures maximum braking action. Includes instructions

To use, turn the adjusting bolts behind the backing plates until the "toes" of the shoes make contact with the drum. Remove the drum and thread the the tool onto the axle shaft or spindle. Adjust so the tool's "finger" touches the toe of the shoe. Rotate the tool to the heel of the shoe and expand the heel out until it touches the finger. Repeat for other shoe
