New-old-stock air conditioner evaporator coil temperature switch for all so-equipped 1967-69 Plymouth Barracuda; 1967-72 Duster - Scamp - Valiant and 1967-72 Dodge Dart - Demon

This switch prevents freezing of the evap coil by opening the circuit to the compressor clutch coil (cycling the compressor off) when temperature drops to approximately 40 degrees (F). As the temp control lever is moved to a warmer setting, a cable to the switch increases the setting and causes the compressor to cycle on and off at higher temperatures
