To remove or install the electric windshield washer pump from the bottom of the fluid reservoir on 1967-74 models, you’ll need a 7/8” deep socket (and an extension) to remove/replace the hex-shaped strainer screen (which retains the pump). If you already have one of these sockets in your tool box, it should be just fine but if not, we offer this premium quality US-made socket at a reasonable price
