Special, genuine Mercury 5/16" fine thread carburetor mounting nuts for all 1958-59 Mercury Mark 58 - 58A - 78 - 78A outboards motors. Removing and re-installing the carbs is one of the most difficult procedures on these engines because of the restricted access. Mounting the carbs is made possible only by these nuts having 7/16" wrenching flats (5/16" nuts normally require a 1/2" wrench). We supply 6 nuts (2 extra) for 4-cylinder motors and 8 (2-extra) for 6-cyl motors (you're going to drop and lose at least one down into the lower cowl) + + + + Specify cylinders when ordering
