This is the sticker that was put on all manual Hurst shifters before they were shipped to the Chrysler assembly plants. This sticker was placed over the sleeve hole to prevent the sleeve or pin from falling out in transit. The sticker was to be removed during installation of the shifter but in most cases the bolt was forced through the sticker so the outer portions of the sticker remained or the sticker was simply relocated to the body of the shifter as shown.
